Scottish Choral Workshops are running a Choral Workshop (details below) in Duns Castle, Berwickshire, on Saturday 17th November.

Join us for a singing workshop at beautiful Duns Castle to improve your choral skills.

Frances Cooper and Roderick Bryce are both professional singers with a great wealth of singing experience, working at the highest levels with some of the country’s top ensembles and are joined by leading accompanist Ingrid Sawers.

Course Fee: £55, including buffet lunch, refreshments and a short tutors’ recital.

The day-long course (10am-4pm) is for singers of all levels and will include innovative warm-ups and explore new singing and choral techniques whilst tackling some well-known and new repertoire, including Mozart’s Laudate Dominum and Lauridsen’s Sure on this shining night.

Duns Castle originally dates from 1320 and has been run by the same family for over 300 years. This private home is not open to the public and you will be welcomed as a guest of the family for the day.
