Lauderdale Community Choir donates to the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic.
Choir member Peter
Dryburgh presented a cheque for £650 from Lauderdale Community Choir which was gratefully received by Research Nurse Chris Batchelor, on behalf of the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic. The charity was chosen by the choir at Peter’s suggestion, and he explained the excellent work undertaken by the Clinic which helps patients with progressive and incurable conditions such as motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis and other cognitive disorders. The Clinic aims to improve patient care whilst undertaking research to develop new approaches to slow, stop and ultimately reverse these devastating diseases.
The funds were raised at the choir’s annual concert ‘Any way The Wind Blows’ held at Earlston High School in October this year, through the generous donations from the audience, choir members and family and friends.
